StoryfestSC 2013 is June 1st

The South Carolina State Library is offering a free two-hour proposal writing workshop on December 4, 2007.  It's an introduction to the key components of writing grant proposals, and is aimed at new or less experienced proposal writers representing nonprofit organizations.  The workshop is free and open to the public.  Space is limited so be sure to register in advance.

On September 20, 2007 the Columbia chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina celebrated its 60th Anniversary at the Federation Center in Columbia.  The event was well attended and the chapter president Frank Coppel served as the master of ceremony.  M.B. “Red” Shaw an associate member who is also a member of the federation advisory board, reflected on the early years of the federation.
