York County Library is your community link and we are looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused leader to manage our Clover Public Library. This is a hands-on, frontline managerial position that both leads and models exceptional customer service in all areas. This positon manages a staff of six and a charming neighborhood library with a newly-updated interior. The branch manager is responsible for daily operations, guiding staff in the development of programs and service delivery, maintaining an attractive and welcoming space, managing a budget, serving as part of the library’s selection team, and serving as a contributing member of the library’s management team. We are looking for a forward-thinking and creative problem solver who likes people and loves to serve. This position builds relationships and creates partnerships to keep the library engaged with the Clover community.
Salary: $46,346.62 - $54,000 for 40 hours per week
- Completion of ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS degree
- At least three years of experience managing staff
- Experience in a library setting; public service experience preferred
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends; this includes being on call for any building or staff emergencies
