Under occasional supervision, performs professional children's and teen services work as assigned in the Aiken County Public Library. $41,393.28 annually.
Plans and conducts weekly children’s programs; Plans and conducts special programs and events for children, teens, their parents, and caregivers; Creates content for library's social media, eNews, and website; Participates in collection development; Conducts tours and outreach visits; Assists at library service desks.
Requires a Master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited university, supplemented by one to two years professional experience in public libraries, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
