The Main Library Manager is responsible for our largest library facility, located in beautiful historic downtown Charleston, and will participate in guiding the renovation of the Main library, including migration to RFID self-check and Automated Material Handling. This position will lead and manage nine department managers of Adult Services, Children's Department, South Carolina Room, Tech Team, Young Adult Services, Circulation, Bookmobile Services, and Historian. And oversee Adult Services, Young Adult Services and Circulation Services system wide monthly meetings to help communicate, analyze, plan, modify and implement new system wide policies and procedures.

ALA accredited MLS degree with six (6) years of professional public library experience, with 3 years of management/administrative experience; eligible for or hold South Carolina State Library certification; well-developed communication skills; ability to plan and coordinate the work of others; a valid South Carolina driver’s license with a safe driving record.
