Reference and Instruction Department - Job Duties
- Planning and delivering the College’s library instruction program
- Providing reference service at the Reference Desk during day, evening, and weekend hours on a rotating basis
- Expanding skills by way of cross training within the library team
- Participating in collection development • Assuming responsibility for the library during scheduled evenings, and weekends, including the supervision of student workers
- Promoting library resources using LibGuides
- Participating in shaping the future of Edens Library’s services and collections

- Carrying out other duties as assigned
- ALA-accredited Masters in Library and Information Science
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility and interest in taking on new responsibilities in a fluid professional environment
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience with Springshare LibGuides is helpful
