Full-time Position/36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period)
Under the administrative supervision of the Library Director, the employee performs the functions of Library Systems Administrator for the technology installed in the Fairfield County Library. Directs the operation, installs, tests and monitors performance of the Library’s Integrated Library System (ILS). Leads troubleshooting efforts for ILS related hardware and software and seeks appropriate solutions with the vendor where appropriate. Researches, monitors, investigates, tests, and evaluates potential new or enhanced services and products for the libraries. Recommends appropriate implementation strategies for user needs and library resources. Maintains Library Servers, Web servers, and public PC software applications.
Salary
$31,312.50 (Full-time based on a 36-hour workweek)
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Certifications in Microsoft OS and/or network technologies are a plus.
- Experience working in a public library environment a plus.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Pro a plus.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy a plus.
