Matt Guzzi, Software Systems Administrator
Matt Guzzi is the Software Systems Administrator for the State Library. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Penn State University. He also has a Certificate in Applications programming from Midlands Technical College. As well as 17+ years of experience in IT serving in various roles such as Software Developer, QA and Business Analyst and Database Administrator. Prior to working at the South Carolina State Library he worked for the South Carolina State Election Commission designing, testing, implementing, and training users on “VREMS” - Voter Registration and Election Management System. Matt currently maintains our LAMP stack and web servers, is the project manager for the Library Information System, maintains the financial dashboard, and works on various other IT projects including the DSIT Privacy and Security initiatives.
