Grants Research and Proposal Writing Classes to be Offered

The South Carolina State Library is pleased to offer two popular grants research and proposal writing classes, Grants Research: Finding a Funder for Your Nonprofit Organization and Proposal Writing BasicsThis year, we're also adding a free online webinar so register today while spaces are still available!

Grants Research: Finding a Funder for Your Nonprofit Organization - This class helps individuals working with nonprofit organizations locate information on grants available from private foundations and corporations using the South Carolina State Library’s electronic and print resources.  Sessions run from 10:00 a.m. to noon and are offered on two different dates:

Proposal Writing Basics – This class will focus on what needs to be included in all your grant proposals.  Sessions run from 10:00 a.m. to noon and are offered on two different dates:

We are also offering a free webinar, Understanding Foundation Tax Returns: Finding a Funding Match With the 990-PF - This webinar will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - noon (register at https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/5443196477778090242).  This is an online session that you can view from home or your office and will focus on how to use the tax returns of private foundations to find detailed information on grants and giving.
