Riley elected president-elect of Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries

Ruth Riley

Ruth Riley, assistant dean for executive affairs and director of library services, was elected president-elect of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL) at the November meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) in Chicago. AAHSL members include 158 health sciences libraries on campuses in the United States, Canada and overseas. AAHSL supports academic health sciences libraries and directors in advancing the patient care, research, education and community service missions of academic health centers through visionary executive leadership and expertise in health information, scholarly communication, and knowledge management.
