Federal Documents for National Library Week

In honor of National Library Week, the library is proud to highlight a special collection of federal documents, with a particular focus on materials from the Library of Congress. As one of the largest and oldest libraries in the world, the Library of Congress has been a vital resource for scholars, lawmakers, and the public since its establishment in 1800. This government agency is renowned for its expansive collection of books, manuscripts, photographs, and other materials, which reflect the depth and diversity of human knowledge. Throughout April, we will feature books and magazines related to the Library’s collections, including captivating articles from Library of Congress Magazine, in celebration of National Poetry Month.

We encourage you to explore more poetry and literature resources available on the Library of Congress website, where you can discover an extensive collection of programs, articles, and current initiatives dedicated to literary arts. Learn more here Poetry & Literature|Library of Congress
