Free Webinar Series Offered - Spring 2014

The popular webinar series, South Carolina State Government: Bit by Bit continues with four webinars scheduled in early 2014. The series is a look into the websites of South Carolina state government agencies to find unique information about South Carolina.

Outreach to Businesses -- Wednesday, January 15, 11:00 a.m. -- noon. Beginning or operating a business in South Carolina demands constant attention to state regulations, registrations, fees and taxes. Much of this now can be accomplished through SCBOS (South Carolina Business One Stop), South Carolina's Business Portal. Registration: http://bit.ly/JLHqYi

Secretary of State -- Tuesday, February 11, 11:00 a.m. -- noon. The Secretary is a Constitutional Officer of the State and the Office has a long history of certification and registration of incorporations, securities, trademarks, the Uniform Commercial Code, elections, and now charities and lobbyists.
