Two University of South Carolina professors will discuss their new anthology work Found Anew during May's Speaker @ the Center event, discussing how the Palmetto State's rich history continues to inspire artists today. R. Mac Jones and Ray McManus, editors of the Found Anew anthology project, will discuss how digital archive collections can not only assist researchers and educators, but also authors and artists looking to ground their work in South Carolina. The Found Anew anthology features the work of 31 writers inspired by archival images from the South Caroliniana Library Digital Collection. Award-winning writers, like poets Terrance Hayes and Nikky Finney, are featured in the work. For more information on Found Anew, Jones, and McManus, visit our calendar page at http://statelibrary.sc.libcal.com/event/2295329
