State Library Announces Two New Staff

Two new staff have joined the South Carolina State Library. Amy Duernberger is the new Discus program director and Shae Tetterton is the director of collection management services.

Two new staff have joined the South Carolina State Library. Amy Duernberger is the new Discus program director and Shae Tetterton is the director of collection management services.

Duernberger was previously the library director at Aiken Technical College. She has also served as the reference/electronic resources librarian at the University of South Carolina Aiken. She earned her Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and holds a BA in Spanish from the University of South Alabama.

Tetterton graduated from Coastal Carolina University in May 1997 with a Bachelor's in European History. She then attended the University of South Carolina and received her Masters in Library and Information Science in May 2000. As a graduate student, she worked as a reference assistant in the Science Library on campus and as an intern with The State Newspaper (in the library). Following graduation, Tetterton worked five years for Sirsi Corporation in Huntsville, AL.
