State Library to Participate in Catawba Job Fair

The South Carolina State Library along with other state and local agencies will be hosting the Catawba Region Job & Education Fair at the Fort Lawn Community Center at 5554 Main Street in Fort Lawn, SC on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Employers and job seekers from across the region are welcome to attend. Admission is free to employers and job seekers. Employers will be taking applications and resumes while sharing employment information with job seekers.


State Library staff will be on hand to assist job seekers on how to use educational resources such as Discus -- The South Carolina Virtual Library and WorkSC.org, a web site helping libraries and citizens learn more about how to find a job. State Library staff will also provide iPads and eBook readers so that job seekers can explore the latest trends in technology.
