Summerville February 2 Reception to Highlight Cecil Williams Exhibit

St. George, South Carolina - The Cecil Williams exhibit, "Unforgettable: Celebrating a Time of Life, Hope and Bravery," will be on display at the St. George library from Monday, December 4 through Thursday, January 25.

  • Friday, January 12 @ 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Reception celebrating Cecil Williams and his works. Includes an author talk and book signing.
  • Saturday, January 27 @ 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., Viewing of the film "Scarred Justice: The Orangeburg Massacre 1968" followed by a discussion with historian and author Jack Bass.
  • Wednesday, February 7 @ 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Viewing of the film "I Am Not Your Negro."

Summerville, South Carolina - The Cecil Williams exhibit, "Unforgettable: Celebrating a Time of Life, Hope and Bravery," will be on display at the Summerville library from Monday, January 29 through Friday, March 16.

  • Saturday, January 13 @ 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Book discussion of "The Orangeburg Massacre" with co-author Jack Bass. A limited number of copies of the book will be available for patrons at the main circulation desk beginning December 8.
  • Friday, February 2 @ 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Reception celebrating Cecil Williams and his works. Includes an author talk and book signing.
  • Wednesday, February 14 @ 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Viewing of the film "I Am Not Your Negro."
