The Palmetto Archives, Libraries & Museums Council on Preservation (PALMCOP) is pleased to announce that registration is open for its annual conference, scheduled in Columbia, SC on February 16, 2018. The conference will focus on the role of cultural resources professionals in documenting and preserving temporary memorial sites as well as historic monuments while navigating complex and often controversial situations. This daylong conference will also highlight a panel of speakers from Charleston's Mother Emmanuel Church who will share their insights and experience documenting and preserving the church's memorial site.
