State Library Offers Digital Collection of Certified Public Manager Projects

Staff at the South Carolina State Library have recently completed a digitization project scanning in close to 300 Certified Public Manager projects, which are now available online.

The Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program is a nationally recognized professional development program for supervisors and managers in government and is managed through the South Carolina Budget and Control Board's Office of Human Resources. Students in the program are required to submit an original research project as part of the program graduation requirements.

The online projects, which include a broad range of topics from disaster recovery, to training, and process improvement in state government, can be accessed online via the State Library’s catalog.  Each title entry in the online catalog will contain a link icon at the end which provides access to the scanned in version.  Documents are availabe in PDF and users will need a PDF viewer to display each report.  The State Library also provides a web page to assist CPM candidates in their research located at www.statelibrary.sc.gov/cpmpa.

For more information about accessing digitized documents, please contact Catherine Buck Morgan, Director of the Division of Innovation and Technology, cmorgan@statelibrary.sc.gov or 803-734-8651.
