Keep on Top of Library News and Updates with Twitter

The South Carolina State Library has recently begun “Twittering”.

Columbia, SC – The South Carolina State Library has recently begun “Twittering”.  Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them.  Users can receive updates via the Twitter website at twitter.com, SMS, RSS, email or through an application such as TwitterFon, Twitterrific, Feedalizr or Facebook.

If you have a Twitter account and would like to keep up to date with what’s going on at the South Carolina State Library and in the South Carolina library community, visit www.statelibrary.sc.gov and click on the new Twitter button located on the left side of the library’s web site.
