Third Annual South Carolina National Library Week Photo Contest

During National Library Week, April 12-18, 2009, South Carolina library staff members will submit a wide range of photographs of library staff members working, researching, teaching, and doing all that library staff members do in a given day.

Library staff members from all types of libraries are encouraged to be creative in taking photos that capture the essence of South Carolina libraries and are visually attractive. Winners will be recognized on the South Carolina State Library’s web site and during the 2009 SCLA Annual Conference in Columbia, October 28-30. Previous winners include Lee County Public Library, Greenville County Public Library, Richland County Public Library, Clemson University Library, and the Charleston County Public Library.

Photos must be submitted to the Flickr group and tagged with NLWdayinSC2009. There is no need for library staff members to pre-register to participate in the project.  To participate in the contest, simply join the Flickr group, NLW Day in the Life of SC Libraries 2009 at http://www.flickr.com/groups/nlwsccontest2009/.
