September 1 at 6:30 PM Simpsonville retiree Keith Block will be on hand to talk about his adventures through-hiking the Appalachian Trail.Mr. Block will discuss the motivation, preparation, and determination that led him to take on, and complete, the A.T. at the age of 69!
He will share with us photos and videos from his 168 day wilderness trek. Be prepared to hear of misery and triumph, of hazards and great beauty encountered along the way.
