Lexington Library to Host State Poet Laureate June 1

The Lexington Library will host SC Poet Laureate, Marjory Wentworth, for The Power of Poetry & Social Engagement.

In time of trouble, poetry can console us and help us express our grief and outrage. Poetry’s ability to describe the indescribable, in both the personal and the public realm, can help heal deep wounds.
