Revolutionary South Carolina: A Photographic Journey by Marie and Eddie Goff
This exhibit, in the our lobby through June 30, is a collection of photographs highlighting historic places that shaped South Carolina during the American Revolutionary War, seen through the lens of Marie and Eddie Goff.

This year, the South Carolina State Library partnered with the South Carolina Relic Room and Military Museum for Revolutionary War Day, which highlights South Carolina’s rich Revolutionary War history.
Center for the Book Celebrates National Library Week with Library of Congress Card Catalog Kiosk at the State Library
The State Library's Center for the Book has received one of 56 card catalogs brought out of retirement by the Library of Congress and distributed through its Center for the Book affiliate network.
2026 TBS Art Gallery
The Talking Book Services (TBS) Art Gallery is a yearly competition open to current South Carolina K-12 students who are blind or visually impaired. Winners are selected in three age groups, and all submitted artworks are recognized in the TBS Art Gallery Awards Ceremony. Each participant also receives a trophy for their outstanding creations.
