The Lion's Roar is pleased to offer listeners a special edition podcast which is now available online and on iTunes.
For this episode we have a special guest presentation. Stanley Lanzano is author of True Places: a lowcountry preacher, his church, and his people. The book is a documentary photographer's vivid study of the daily and spiritual lives of a South Carolina African American coastal community. He and Jason Shaiman, Chief Curator of Exhibitions at the University of South Carolina's McKissick Museum, had a conversation about Stanley's book for the November 19th 2009 Speaker @ the Center program which is held monthly at the South Carolina State Library.
