Public Library Employee Excellence Award Announced

Terry Cobb, manager of the Clover Public Library, was selected to receive the Public Library Employee Excellence Award for 2016 by the Friends of South Carolina Libraries (FOSCL) at their recent annual meeting.  FOSCL is a statewide organization that provides support to local Friends of Libraries groups.

She was nominated by the Friends of the York County Library for her encouragement and development of her staff and for being a positive role model in the community.  She was also recognized for developing partnerships with local groups such as the Clover School District and her care and support of her library patrons.

Terry began working at the Clover Public Library in 1999 as the children’s assistant and was named the branch manager in 2006. She is a resident of Clover.
