Kablick has a B.A. in Arts Management from the College of Charleston, and is currently completing a year as Assistant Coordinator of the South Carolina Design Arts Partnership. Prior to her work with the design arts, she served as a Piccolo Spoleto Fellow with the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs.
Kablick replaces Susanna Brailsford who was the Partnership’s coordinator for two years. She will spend her time assisting with and coordinating such high-profile literary programs as the South Carolina Book Festival, Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest, Letters About Literature and other programs of the S.C. Center for the Book, and Let’s Talk About It Reading and Discussion program. Kablick will begin work on August 3, 2009.
The South Carolina Literary Arts Partnership is a cooperative effort of the S.C. State Library, the S.C. Arts Commission, and The Humanities CouncilSC. The three organizations have supported this distinctive partnership, unique in the United States, since 1999. All three organizations have a strong commitment to the literary arts and literacy.
