The Adult Services & Digital Literacy Consultant leads statewide initiatives, develops and coordinates programs and projects, and provides general support for adult and intergenerational services (in conjunction with the Youth Services Consultant) and digital literacy/access efforts in libraries throughout North Carolina. This position works closely with staff throughout the State Library of North Carolina, other Department of Natural & Cultural Resouces (DNCR) Divisions, the NC Office of Digital Equity and Literacy, and other government agencies and organizations on common projects and initiatives.
This position is deemed eligible for hybrid telework under DNCR’s Telework Policy.
Salary: $49,158.00 - $86,026.00
Master's degree in library and information science or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of professional librarian experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
