Come celebrate the start of summer by visiting the South Carolina State Library’s new Summer Reading art gallery, on display till July 31! This gallery contains original art by eight award-winning children’s authors and illustrators, including Denise Fleming, Peter Brown, Marc Brown, Bryan Collier, David Diaz, Brian Lies, and John Rocco. Most of the artwork was commissioned to celebrate StoryfestSC, an annual event meant to boost children’s literacy. Want to see the gallery?
