Associate Professor Shannon Jones has recently been named the MUSC Library's new director effective July 1, 2015. Jones joined the MUSC Library in January 2014 as Assistant Director for Program Development and Resource Integration, and Associate Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science. She has over 13 years' experience working in academic research and health science libraries including 8 years in management and administration. Prior to MUSC, Jones was the Associate Director for Research and Education at the Tomkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University. From 2002-2004 she was a Fellow at the US National Library of Medicine. She has a long list of accomplishments in building library services that meet the ever changing needs of education, research and clinical communities. For more information, please contact Shannon D.
