The Assistant Director of Library Services plans and implements effective information literacy instruction, reference, circulation services and programs, and archival services and prepares all resources for library use. Works in conjunction with professional staff to provide excellent support and reference services to students, faculty, and staff in the community college setting; assists in the collection development of library materials in a variety of formats; teaches information literacy instruction and orientation classes that showcase the various databases and other library resources; assists in the collection development of library materials in a variety of formats. Minimum starting salary $57,026 annually
A Master of Library Science degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent.
Four years of professional library experience and a minimum of two years of administration and supervision of a college or public library.
