Laurens Library to Host January Author Events

This January the Laurens County Library is pleased to host Thursday night book events with four upstate Authors.

January 3 at 7 PM, Rick Veal of Laurens will present his new "contemporary paranormal romance" novel, The Master of Whitehall. In addition, Andrea Cefalo will also be on hand to present her young adult novel, The Fairytale Keeper, Avenging the Queen.

January 24 at 7 PM, John Jeter, owner of The Handlebar in Greenville, returns to the Laurens County Library to discuss his novel, The Plunder Room and to introduce his newest book, Rockin' a Hard Place, Flats, Sharps & Other Notes from a Misfit Music Club Owner a non-fiction work about the music business.

January 31 at 7 PM, John Lane of Spartanburg will be with us to present his book, My Paddle to the Sea, Eleven Days on the Rivers of the Carolinas, a journal of his canoe/boat trip that began in Spartanburg and ends on the South Carolina coast, as well as his other books about outdoors, nature, humor and poetry.

Each author will be discussing his or her own books and will bring copies for purchase and signing.
