State Library Announces Free Grants Information Classes for Spring 2013

The State Library is pleased to announce three classes that are free and open to state employees, library staff and the public.

Grants Research: Finding a Funder for Your Nonprofit Organization - This class assists individuals locate information on grants available from private foundations and corporations using the State Library's electronic and print resources. March 20, 9:30am-noon.

Proposal Writing Basics - This class will focus on what needs to be included in all your grant proposals. April 9 or May 22, 9:30am-noon.

Introduction to the Foundation Directory Online - Includes basic and advanced search techniques for using the Foundation Center's grants database to find potential funders for your nonprofit. May 1, 9:30am-noon.

Classes will be held at the South Carolina State Library, 1500 Senate Street, Columbia. To register, visit the State Library's calendar of events.
