The Pat Conroy Literary Center opened its doors to the public in October 2016 during the first annual Pat Conroy Literary Festival. Following a year of robust educational programming in and beyond the Center’s home in Beaufort, SC, the American Library Association (ALA) has honored the literary center with a national recognition.

The South Carolina State Library invites you to visit our new exhibit titled Honoring South Carolina Veterans and their Legacies. The exhibit opens on Monday, November 6 and is available until November 30, 2017. Join us as we recognize South Carolina’s rich military history and the significant military presence in our state today.
