She will share with us her memoir, A Glimpse Into My Life. A powerful journey that depicts the life of a Lebanese immigrant single mother. Displaced by a sectarian civil war into a land she has only seen on television, a young woman relies on her courage and determination to navigate the uncertain challenges of assimilation and single parenthood.

Kitchen Skills Series to feature Chef Steve Harden

Join us for a series of three free webinars on April 15, 22, and 29, 2021, featuring Chef Harden of the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. This series of live webinars is intended for library staff who are presenting food literacy programming. Information will be presented in a train-the-trainer model and will take place via Zoom. Spaces are limited; library staff are encouraged to register early. 

SC State Library Announces New Digitized Collection

The South Carolina State Library is pleased to announce the latest addition to its digitized collections. Published annually, the South Carolina Legislative Manual provides detailed information including photographs and biographies of officials in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of South Carolina State Government; the South Carolina Congressional Delegation; and, State Officers.
