The South Carolina State Library will offer website accessibility assessments through the Able Access Project to four public libraries in South Carolina. These assessments will help ensure that library websites meet legal standards for website accessibility and that they are accessible to all members of the public, including those with disabilities.

Charleston County Public Library has partnered with Spoleto Festival USA for three book discussions, reflecting themes found in Spoleto’s opera Omar. The second talk on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 - 6:30 p.m., will examine Lawrence Hill's Someone Knows My Name. In this fiction work, Hill, an award winning author, tells the story of the injustices of slavery and its toll on people.
