July 26, 2015 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Celebrations of the signing of the ADA by President George H.W. Bush on July 26, 1990 are taking place across the nation. 

The South Carolina State Library will announce the selection of the most notable South Carolina state government documents of 2014 at an awards ceremony held on May 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Carolina State Library, 1500 Senate Street, Columbia.

Help celebrate the wonderful world of storytelling at the Newberry Opera House on Friday , May 8, 2015 at the Family Concert from 8:00 p.m.-9:45p.m . Tickets are only $6.00 at the box office for this great entertainment!.

The storytellers selected for this evening are Rodger Ellingwood (Rock Hill, SC), Faye Fulton(Charlotte,NC), Suzette Hawkins (Lexington,SC), and Judy Seeley(Greenville,SC).
