The South Carolina State Library is pleased to present the South Carolina State Agency Social Media Library (scsocialmedialibrary.org), which provides public access to social media activity from partner South Carolina state agencies.
There's an App for this: The Constitution
The Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, the Library of Congress and the Government Printing Office (GPO) marked Constitution Day (September 17, 2013) by launching a new app and web publication that make analysis and interpretation of constitutional case law by Library experts accessible for free to anyone with a computer or mobile device.
Free Grants Writing Workshop to be Offered

Join us on Wednesday, October 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for this free hands-on class to find reliable resources for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The resources will range from websites for consumer health materials to research sites with statistics on diseases, risks, morbidity and mortality, both on a national level and county level in South Carolina.

Sumter County Library Announces Programming for The Big Read
The Sumter County Library will present The Big Read throughout the month of October 2013. The Big Read will focus on The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.
The library invites everyone throughout Sumter County to participate in The Big Read by picking up a free copy at all Sumter County Library locations, including the Bookmobile; Adult Education, Patriot Hall and the Sumter Shepherd Center.
